Agastyarkoodam
Agasthyarkoodam, one of the highest peaks in the Western Ghats, is situated about 70 km from Thiruvananthapuram city. The place is famous for its abundant ayurvedic herbs and medicinal plants. Agasthyarkoodam is also home to many exotic birds. The place is named after the sage Agasthya from the Hindu myths and is also a popular pilgrim attraction.
