Anchuthengu
Anchuthengu situated 40 km north of Thiruvananthapuram city, along the sea coast is a place of great historical importance. It was here that the English East India Company established their first settlement in 1864 AD. The remains of the Anchuthengu fort, which had withstood many sieges, can still be seen here today.
