Ponmudi
Ponmudi situated at an elevation of 912 m above sea level, is an amazing hill station in the Thiruvananthapuram district, about 61 km from the city. Ponmudi is known for the mist-covered hills, the picturesque views and its beautiful trekking trails. There are several tea and rubber estates around the hills and a mountain tribe called Kani who have been living here from time immemorial.
